Where Are You Christmas?

Where are you Christmas?  It's hard to remember that Christmas is coming when the leaves are still changing and falling here.  This weekend we even joined hundreds of other shoppers strolling outside from store to store without coats.  I.  Love.  This.  Winter.

Besides shopping, we were finally able to stop by our local library and grab library cards.  Matthew and I always love going to the library, especially when it's decorated for Christmas.  What's our latest read? 

The Great Gatsby.  Matthew and I both read it in high school, but remember nothing.  There's a new movie coming out that's supposed to be based off of the book, so we thought we'd revisit it together.

Another book we decided to check out is centered around canning and preserving.  One of my husband's best qualities is that when he says he's going to do something, he does it.  Right away.  Yesterday we got the book, today we canned.

We won't find out how it tastes for three whole weeks!  I have a good feeling though...
