Wait. The one word that can mean so many things when you're making bread. Last night it meant not digging in until well after 10:00 (we liked to think we were being European). Reading "wait" in the bread book also meant another 10 minutes of kneading by hand (Matthew did way better at that part). But once the bread was done, we found ourselves saying "wait" multiple times when we just needed one more piece. Does it make sense to make our own bread when we can buy it for $1 at the store? Yes.

We liked this meal so much we may or may not have had the exact same thing for lunch the very next day. No big deal.
