Low and Slow

Beer takes a long time.  So does smoking meat.  Yesterday we took part in both!  Matt and Cody's beer was finally finished--success!  Possibly the best home-brew yet.  It is called Initiation Ale. Kudos to Cody for his first home-brew!

The best brews always start with a fun opener :)


Matthew also got some use out of his new smoker!  I awoke to smells of hickory and charcoal--a great way to start the weekend.









Definitely worth the wait!  He even made his own BBQ sauce :)  My hero!  Chef Peterson: the low and slow master!

  1. cool spot for the bottle opener! We forgot to order one for Dan when we ordered those...maybe a future gift idea :) yay for the smoker- that food looks delish!
