Thanksgiving

Frankenmuth couldn't find us this year.  We were all hovered around my parents' table.  The consensus?  Perfect.  What made it even better?  My husband getting his name out there as the gravy man.

If this isn't teamwork, I don't know what is

Result?  Success:

One might assume that the meal, in fact, might be the best part of Thanksgiving--after all, it was executed wonderfully.  However, the best part might actually be the chats, laughs, and belly aches shared by an awesome group of people I typically refer to as my family.

What can I say?  My brother is famous.

We were also delighted to share in celebrating an absolutely beautiful wedding!  Seeing old friends and dancing the night away with good cookies is always a good thing.

It's always sad leaving Michigan, but luckily our travel time gave us the chance to make our own list of things we're thankful for:

  • Jesus
  • A wonderful, godly spouse
  • Family who supports us
  • God's provision (i.e. HOUSE!)
  • The Village Church
  • Lifelong friends
  • A job that pays the bills
  • Freedom, safety, privilege
  • Love
  • Good beer, good food, good times
