I've missed you tons. There's so much I have to catch you up on, but I know it will take far more than one measly post. Did you know we live in Texas now? At first I missed the Midwest, but then we talked to my dad on a day when it was 38 degrees...hello Lone Star State.
Hubs and I have been working tirelessly to get the house "guest-ready" for some famisitors (family visitors) and although we look forward to spending more time and money on this home-of-a-money-pit (as we have found all houses are), we were happy with the results of our blood, sweat, and tears (mostly my tears, temper tantrums really). Take a look--

No need for a double-take, yes, Matthew has a beer/cheese room |
I don't think I've ever eaten more pizzas or made as many trips to McDonald's (in all fairness, McDonald's did have Monopoly going) as I did during our renocation (definition of the word I just made up: a renovation that is so much fun it feels like you're on vacation). But really, I couldn't have had more fun painting and cleaning and shopping with anyone else besides Matthew.
Cheers to beige paint and cheap moss!
